About Us

Why Choose Us?

We offer a unique treatment method along with individual one-on-one treatments.  Our method is focused on patient-therapist goals with no other influencing factors on patient care or treatment plans.  Diagnosis, treatment, and patient understanding is key in order to obtain optimal results.  In deciding to use Midline as your choice of therapy you will  receive a in-depth postural/positional analysis along with functional assessments, objective measures, and a treatment plan focusing on your perceived limitations.

How We Can Help You?

Midline Movement Physical Therapy offers hands-on care that focuses around joint mobilization/manipulation coupled with soft tissue mobility.  We utilize the central concept of balanced systems.  The nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems all function optimally when they are balance.  Previous injuries, repetitive movements, and sustained stress can all feed into changes in our systems and create pain.  Reducing any stressors on these systems by creating balance from the midline of the body helps reduce and shut down the triggers that illicit pain.  Through our treatment techniques Dr. Joe Kik will help you optimize outcomes and see immediate results focused towards meeting not only short-term goals, but the goals you have always wanted to achieve.

See the Difference

Patients will receive the one-on-one physical therapy attention that is required to obtain quick and optimal results in order to return to life without limitations.  Whether you are an athlete, in chronic pain, suffered a fall, had a traumatic accident, or just someone looking to reduce aches and pains in your everyday life, our treatment can help.

Our Services

Comprehensive Evaluation

Specialized Joint Mobilization and Soft Tissue Mobilization

Individualized Treatment and Exercise Programs Made Simple

Each patient will undergo a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of the body.  Since we are not held to limitation of insurance, we can explore the entire kinetic chain and treat all the factors that may be influencing or contributing to your primary pain complaint.  The body is complex and although you may have pain in one area doesn't mean that there aren't other factors contributing to it.  Once your evaluation is complete we will design a treatment plan that helps you understand your current issue, how to resolve it, and help prevent it from reoccurring.

Each physical therapy session will be hands-on one-on-one treatment that will focus on resolving pain limiting issues.  Hands-on means that the majority of the manual therapy work done in the clinic is done by a skilled physical therapist.  Home exercise programs are to be done at home to minimize therapy time spent in the clinic.   This allows for time optimization for both the patient and therapist allowing you to get you back to your sports, active lifestyle, or just simply living life without limitations.

Midline movement offers a unique physical therapy approach with an emphasis on manual therapy in order to resolve limitations and pain with movement.  All systems operate at their highest capacity when they are restored to their normal resting position, or midline.  Often prior injuries and traumas during your life, coupled with repetitive daily activities, result in changes in the body's optimal position.  Utilization of joint and soft tissue mobilization coupled with neurological integration help restore the body back to neutral alignment.  This restoration of all systems more often than not results in pain-free, non-limited movement, and optimal function.
